Classes suitable for all levels. Instructor will modify poses based on the individual student's needs.

Iyengar

Emphasizes proper alignment and proper action in poses. Uses props and hands-on adjustments to enable the student to go more deeply into poses.

Vinyasa Flow

A style that involves synchronizing the breath with various linked sequences of postures building internal heat. Produces a sense of flowing into oneself through combined breath and movement.

Prana Flow

Prana Flow is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana – the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence – as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics and Shiva’s teaching experience from the last fifteen years.

Therapeutic Flow

Therapeutic Flow brings an array of supplementary mindfulness healing modalities to vinyasa yoga practice, such as body scanning and yoga nidra. It incorporates Heart Math, vibrational healing, and ancient modalities such as mandalas, sacred geometry, and totems. Each class creates its own energetic grid through connection to the higher self.

Kundalini

The "yoga of awareness" uses breath, posture, movement, mantra, and meditation to raise your energy. Includes deep relaxation and gong meditation.

Pre-Natal

Enhances comfort in pregnancy while preparing body and mind for birth. For all stages of pregnancy; prior experience not needed.

Taoist Yoga

Postures of stillness and movement for promoting growth, clearing energetic blockages, enhancing circulation, developing core strength, muscle tone, balance, and stamina. Taoist movement provides relaxed confidence, fluidity and grace in the body.

Mommy + Me

For moms and children age 2 months to 7 years. Come relax and bond with your child…stretching & learning the ABC’s of yoga. This class will help your children develop their imagination through doing animal and nature poses (a special favorite of kids) and meditation. The class includes music, playing instruments, and storytime.

Gentle Yoga

Yoga to calm and refresh the body, mind and heart. Intended for those who wish to focus on the healing aspects of yoga practice. This may include those who have health concerns, physical issues, or limited range of motion.

Yoga Qi (Chi)

This practice combines gentle yoga movement with the soothing therapeutics of Qigong and healing qualities of Restorative Yoga. Qigong is based on ancient Chinese yoga postures. The movement is slow yet energizing, which helps strengthen the immune system and tone the organic body. Restorative Yoga postures are done on the earth with yoga props to encourage deep relaxation.

Lil' Sprouts Yoga

A playful class for kids ages 3 - 7, using movement, breathing, stretching and IMAGINATION! Enjoy music, creative arts, stories and most of all FUN! while learning about yoga, nutrition and health. A safe and relaxing place for kids to just be kids.

Capoeira

Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines dance and martial arts. It includes live rhythm and percussive music. Learning the instruments and songs is a part of the capoeira experience. In the game of capoeira two people play in a circle called a "roda" to the rhythm of the music, allowing body and mind to integrate in this fusion of mental and physical energy.

Buddhist Meditation

This new class will explore unique Buddhist meditations that will help lessen and eventually solve our everyday problems. Often when things go wrong in our life we tend to regard the situation itself as the problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from our mind. Because of this extraordinary fact, if we change our mind we can literally change our world. By changing our mind through meditation, we can learn how to develop positive ways of viewing ourselves and our life. Classes consist of short teachings and meditations. Come to any or all the classes--no experience necessary. Excellent for experienced as well as beginning meditators.

Workshops

Classes in an extended, three- or four-hour format, given by Yoga Jones staff and guest teachers, on specific forms of yoga practice in which the instructor has special expertise. Workshops are wonderful for increasing the breadth and depth of your personal practice.
